Saves time, wear and battery life.the charger. first the 2.4 volt version and now the 3.6 -- I have two. I've been using these drivers for over 20 years. full battery in 15 minutes. Great range of torque selection, super battery life, light and powerful. I really like the automatic motor cut off when the correct torque is reached. but don't get the cheap knock-off batteries, they are bigger, heavier, and do NOT last. get the genuine.Get one (or more)
Strange as it may seem, needing a new battery is a good thing as many of the screw guns I used in the past didn't last till the battery went dead. This one is very light and versatile. I have tried many screw guns of every shape and size in the last 15 years. What good is one without the other. It's not often I find things this good these days, most are cheap, undependable and fragile. It seems they are selling the gun and charger separate.silly, yes.
Rather than running while slipping which will waste battery power. When it reaches whatever torque you set it to, it stops, saving battery power. It will go in smaller places than any drill/screw-gun. Your arm NEVER gets tired from holding it. I service many electro-mechanical instruments. I think I may be needing a new battery now.The last 3 charge cycles lasted less than a week. I was here to buy a battery for it decided to give it a good review.
I have dropped this screw driver at least 20 times and sometimes on concrete at 6 foot high. It still runs perfect except now it needs a battery. It charges in 20 minutes. It is very powerful and has torque settings. Anyway I hope this helps you decide to get this gun.wow I should get paid for this.
The battery lasts a long time, usually about 2 weeks with light to medium daily use. I have had mine for 2yrs and love it. I picked up mine with the charger as a package deal for 129.00 here at Amazon 2years ago. Great tool.goofy marketing.
I have used one these for years as a residential electrican installing hundreds of switches and outlets a year. I would never have lasted 30 years without one, great time saver too.
I have always been happy with Panasonic products. I have charged the batteries no less than 300 times a piece and they still perform like new.
The battery will last all day and then some. I have used this drill driver for over 2 years and never had a problem.
I have dropped it from some 6-10 feet and it still keeps on ticking, I don't recommend dropping any tool of course but accidents happen. I do commercial Electrical work and I am very hard on the drill.
I use it constant all day long 6 days a week. This is without a doubt the best tool I have ever purchased in 25 years.
I feel so positive about this drill driver this is the first review I have ever taken time to write.
the panasonic driver is the tool for interior work. this is a pro tool and well worth the money.
it is the fastest at 600 rpm. i am a mechanic at a mercedes dealer, i've used and tried many-many drill drivers, & this panasonic is the best.
the electronic clutch is very adjustable and precise for torque settings,i use it everyday with only one battery; the fifteen minute charger is a must. very light.
easy to use. the only other driver comparable is the milwakee but slower at 450rpm.
i recomend it highly.
